Limelite extrodinaires Luca and Benny T are pushing a mixtape they put together a few days ago.

Like that stupid song about kissing girls, the boys have shot it up the perth music ladder, with their biggest gig to date being this summer's StereoSonic 08 festival. While we cant apologise for all the Luca and Benny T groupies set to take over the Limelite tent in the early arvo, the boys, from what we hear have got something special in store.

Here's to a couple of the nicest blokes in town, absolutely smashing their StereoSonic slot.

Alright pretty big update this week.Photos are up from friday night, few shockers were deleted but the stunners were out in style it seemed.

So Master Dash and Moe Steez played at Limelite for the first time bringing their mash and ghetto game which turned into a wicked party set the boys are being increasingly renowned for. Zelimir pushed out some new mega bangers that had the place dancing with joy and Mel B put on a show till the wee hours of sat morning.

The Stafford Brothers sent through an email during the week, letting everyone know they'd made it massive and wanted some beatport love. Check it.

First things first: photos are up for all your bookface needs.

Friday night had the doors open to another installment of a quickly becoming favorite night for some of perth's best dj's. Another night, when the limelite sits squarely on the local boys and their cuts and pastes.

Maxwell, back at Limelite after tasting the european summer for the last few weeks, had the place in a frenzy with his sweet opening set. From dropping left of right digitalism to your favorite timid beats, the man bought it back hard. The mighty zelimir, took the peak set onwards and upwards from there, dishing out his usual gems and throwing in a little bit of surprise here and there to keep the punters happy through 1AM before dasha and pooni took off with a worthy tagteam closer.

This week, limelite changes it up even more, welcoming mashup masters Moe Steez & Master Dash of Manor fame - handing over the keys to the decks for what might be the set of the early summer. The ladies'll be down in force and the tunes just bangin. Some of us around here think this one could be the start of something special for the boys, who inherit the big room, on the back of some stellar nights around town.

ACID JACKS HALLOWEEN BASH

Limelite, The Acid Jacks, Zelimir and Micah absolutely tore the place a new one on friday night. Giving a whole new meaning to the term dressed to the nine's almost everyone got into the spirit on friday night throwing on everything from a snowman to a fireman, from the multitude of unbelievably fucken sexy nurses through to borat.

The crowd was massive,the tunes were just hard fidget all night long and Acid Jacks just gave it all that bit extra needed to push it into another stellar highlight on the limelite calendar.

Limelite went absolutely ape shit on friday night for the woman quickly becoming the hottest thing in dance music, and when we mean hot, shit we mean absolutely stunning gorgeous.

Stereosonic debutants Luca and Benny T took the opening set and as always had beautiful people quickly in the mood for Helena. And she never dissapointed the whole way through, wearing that headset better looking than anyone ever had at limelite. She rocked the place hard with her signature ibiza sound, dropping current bombs and mixing a few old schoolers in for good measure. As the morning came to a quick end, Zelimir was handed over the reigns for the final set and reminded us all why he's up there as one of perth's best residents.

SOME STEREOSONIC NEWS FYI

Only another month and a bit till Stereosonic comes to Perth courtesy of Limelite, Sunset Events and Hardware ( ie the OneLove boys).

Some industry tickets are still rolling around the mean streets of Perth, otherwise moshtix, ticketek, Live clothing and a shitload of other joints should be able to sort you out. First dump has sold out and second round are going seriously fast.

From ticket sales and the shitload of word on the street, looks like this is going to be the summer festival of the year.

CHARDY LOVING THE LIMELITE

Friday night Limelite played host to one of the East Coast's favorites in Chardy with newcomers Dasha and Pooni rocking the place hard and Zelimir keeping everything tight in between.

Dasha and Pooni tag teamed their way through a massive opening set that had the crowd just waiting for the man everyone calls the hard working resident in Australia. And he never really dissapointed moving easily through everything from deep house through to a bit of progressive, a shitload of commercial remixes and than a few twists, bumps and grinds that catered to everyones tastes. Think a bit of laidback luke with a bit of old school and you get the sets drift.

Photos are up for everyones bookface/myspace/memory needs. Some absolutely stunners snapped on Friday night.

Good times and another great limelite friday night.
