Limelite and Sunset Events proudly announce the return of their signature New Years Day bash, Club Paradiso – back and bigger than ever. Club Paradiso returns on Sunday, January 1st to Salt on The Beach (subject to Council Approval) and is set to be the party seasons premier boutique dance event.
Having built up a s…olid reputation for providing Perth crowds with quality acts to ring in the new year including the likes of Fedde Le Grand, Sebastian Ingrosso, Dirty South and Digitalism. Club Paradiso’s fourth New Years Day outing is set to continue in fine form with international superstars THE SHAPESHIFTERS (UK) andWYNTER GORDON (USA) set to headline the day.
Purveyors of the finest house music and all round party people, The Shapeshifters are leaving the harsh London winter for our sunny shores. Their smash hit “Lola’s Theme” set the precedent for the duo: forget genres. The boys have vastly different backgrounds, funk/soul vs. techno. It’s this fusion that makes The Shapeshifters sound so dynamic and exciting. DJs, producers and label owners, they’ve set the pace with their unique kind of nocturnal grooves, and there’s no sign of it slowing down with the forthcoming release of their ‘Nikki Beach – In The House’ compilation for Defected Records.
Songbird of the moment Wynter Gordon is set to enthral you with her blissful vocals. From enchanting crowds at clubs and festivals around the world, to her chart toppers “Toyfriend” and “Dirty Talk”, she’s collaborated with the likes of David Guetta and rubbed shoulders with all of Hollywood’s A-list. Dubbed “the voice of all things smokin’ on the airwaves”, she is one to watch so don’t miss out.
The room we like to call the Big Chill will be held hostage by the Lucid Dreaming DJ’s. Escape the heat for a dose of techno, tech and more underground electronic sounds.
As always, Club Paradiso boasts a premium collection of local talent including: Mind Electric, Zelimir, Jus Haus?, M.J.Bannister, KNO Agents, Chris Chiari, Rob Sharp, Aarin Fraser, Kid Deep, Cam Duff, Marko La Kucha, El Dario, Makitan, Nathan Francis, Richard Lee, Suric and Milanov, set to sooth your beat hungry bones across two stages.
The day will start at 2pm with tunes in both the big top beach bar and the air-conditioned restaurant. Complimentary finger food will be ushered around the venue from 3pm – 7pm and a full menu option available for something more substantial.
